I have three pairs of these pants because I absolutely love the style of them. That said, they are not great for alpine hiking with any kind of bushwhacking or scrambling on rocks. The first time I wore my pink pair, I took them for a big hike and they got a hole in them quickly and the dirt didn’t wash out using the cold setting. Was pretty sad about it. Due to the material, it’s pretty difficult to patch up.
They are perfect for easier trails though!
